Just a few ideas from Studio Ghibli movies. I love the way Studio Ghibli manage to combine complexity and simplicity into one image. The food is vibrant and appealing. The basket of food in to bottom image will be a good reference for my illustration. I want to include a hand opening the basket to create play with the scale of the composition but I don't want the hand to detract from the main narrative which will be within the basket itself. The hands in the top image are well drawn but simply outlined and coloured, I will need to find a balance like this.
