The military Tattoo festival sells a lot of merchandise that helped me to understand the identity and branding of the event. Their is also a large amount of photography of the event. The festival sells a lot of merchandise celebrating Scottish cultural identity through tartan and tweed patterned products. the festival is a musical event performed by military marching bands. The event is focussed on the very specific subjects of Scottish military history and musical traditions, both of which have iconic imagery associated with them. I think we will need to stick to this imagery but put our own twist on it. I think we should be incorporating military dress, marching bands, musical instruments and skittish tradition.
