BBC brand

I  did some research into the branding the BBC uses as well as some of the main Edinburgh festivals. I think we could work illustration into the lettering of the titles for the app and each individual page, we could incorporate the colour schemes and patterns associated with each individual festival to make sure we not only communicate the BBC's brand identity but the identity of each individual festival. We have not managed to get all the members of the group together so far so it has been difficult to share ideas and make important decisions up until this point but we are all meeting tomorrow so we should be able to get some direction. This brief is only short and because of the nature of the design process me and Chris will need to get started on the illustrations as soon as possible. We have not been able to so far as we have questions that need to be resolved between the entire team. From the communication we have had it appears that the members of the group have a good understanding of their roles within the group and have been researching their own area of practice. I think after tomorrow we should all have a much better understanding of what we need to do, how we should do it, what timescale we are working towards and how our work processes will impact on one another. I have tried to prepare some questions I would like answered and come up with some ideas to present to the group.

- How are we going to incorporate the illustrations into the app layout design?
- Full page
- Borders
-Text
-Other ideas

-hich of the Festivals will have their own individual pages with live video?
-The ones mentioned in the brief?

- Should we have a continuous colour scheme throughout the app or have pages that represent the brand identity of each festival?

- Whne tdo we need the illustrations ready for? what are our deadlines?

What BBC branding are we required to include? What can't we do?

What are we trying to communicate?
-fun
-Edinburgh (Scotland)
- Crowds
- etc
