Anorak Magazine

Anorak magazine was started in 2006 and publishes a new issue four times a year. The magazines include short stories, poems, puzzles and educational material all illustrated and presented in colourful, fun and interactive ways. The magazines are designed to be kept and collected not as throw away issues, they are made of recycled paper and printed with vegetable based inks. Anorak collaborate with museums, shops, cultural associations and festivals to create interactive events designed to stimulate the imagination and promote creativity. They are active on social media running competitions to win subscriptions to the magazine and have found a way to get feedback by introducing the Little Editors Scheme where children between 4 and 10 are sent copies of the magazine and invited to review them. By doing this they can gather important feedback that would otherwise be hard to find due to the age range of their readers.
